Hereby beseechith ye gode and gracious Lordeship ye pow and dayly Bedeman
Richard Boulebey preeste that
where ### Richard Rogger of the citee of Cannterbury by synyster labo- of
said The##y #byrday of the said citee and dyne other ebytt
of the disposed ###sonce affeymed a playnt of trespas ayenst ye said
beseecher before the ayay#of the said citee havyng noe grounde or resonable
cause of action against hym by force whereof ye said beseecher was there
arested and yet by the said synyster labo- is kepte in pryson and for a
asumche as the said Rogger beyng a man of ebytt and f#oward disposicion
and also indetted to said The##y #byrday of the said citee and other in dyne
grete sinnes (sennce?) of mercy?? the same Richard separted oute of the
contrey for fere of accions to be take against him not entendyng ferther to
have preding ayenst ye said beseecher in the said playnt and feyneng accion
and not be the said Th##y and other to ##thond the said Richard had soo
indetting ######### peyng the depture of the said Richard and no remedy
ayens hym to atteyne the said dutees pursne the said pleynte and accion in
the said Richard ayenst ye said beseecher intendyng wrongfully by the said
synyster labo- and myght to gane ye said beseecher unjustly condempned to
the said Richard m#threte and unresonable damages in the said feyned accion
to thentente that they myght by meanes satiffie theymself thereby of then
said dette and for the execucion of there said purpose and ebitt disposed
entent they gane ##### a ##### of peponder to be sette before the said

purpose and wytte in that behalf by they mayntenance to be had contrarye to
att ##gthtwysnes trouthe and gode conscience wtherfore in consideracion of

corpne own cansa### dyrecte to the said ###judge commandyng hym by the same
to brynge up the body of the said beseecher with the cause of the said
arreste before ye gode Lordship atte a certeyn day by ye Lordship to be
assigned theere the #mysses to be examenyd afore ye Lordship as ryght
trouthe and gode conscience shall requyre and this for the love of god and
in the way of charyty and ye said beseecher shall dayly pray to god for ye
gode Lordeship.

Hereby beseech you good and gracious Lordship the poor and daily prayerman
Richard Boulebey priest that where ##Richard Rogger of the city of
Canterbury by sinister labour of said The##y #byrday of the said city and
thy other a bit of the disposed ###sonce aaffirmed a complaint of trespass
against the said beseecher before the ayay# of the said city having no
ground or reasonable cause of action against him by force whereof the said
beseecher was there arrested and yet by the said sinister labour is kept in
prison and for a #### as the said Rogger being a man of ### and f#oward
disposition and also indebted to the said Th##y #byrday of the said city
and other in thy great sense of mercy the same Richard left the country for
fear of action and not be the said Th##y and other to ##thond the said
Richard had so indebted ###### paying the debture of the said Richard and no
remedy against him to attain the said duties following the said complaint
and action in the said Richard m##threte and unreasonable damages in the
said false action to the intent that they might by means saisfy themselfs of
the repay of the said debt and for the execution of the said purpose and a
bit disposed intent they gain ### a ### of preposal to set before the said
### (Judge?) for the false action for the hasty execution of there purpose
and wit in that behalf they maintain to be contrary to the ###gthwysnes
truth and good conscience wherefore in consideration of the # m##### please
it the good and gracious Lordship to grant a writ of habues corpus
